Aria Farm Awards / Successes

  • 2000: Aria Farm won the TVNZ/Marketing Magazine Marketing Awards "Unitec Faculty of Business Small Business Award". The judge's comments were:

    "Aria Farm has demonstrated a single-minded determination to succeed with the launch of an exciting range of products in a competitive category. Not only did the company understand in detail the current consumer trends and needs but then translated these into innovative products and appropriately targeted its communications. This is an excellent example of a start-up company effectively using marketing tools to build a successful business."
  • 2000: Aria Farm Beef Chips and Lamb Chips were nominated as the most innovative meat products from New Zealand for the SIAL Food Festival, France
  • 2000: The frozen meat category in supermarkets grew 34.2%. It was the largest growth area (excluding beer and telecommunications). The growth was driven by strong marketing and product performance of Aria Farm Chips. (Source: AC Nielsen in Action Article - Retail Today, February 2001)
  • 2000: Aria Farm was No. 8 in the Top 10 New Entrants with Food Items in the 52 weeks to August 2000 (AC Nielsen)
  • 2000 and 2002: Aria Farm received Industry NZ Awards
  • 2001-2002: Aria Farm was chosen by TVNZ to be used in their advertisement showing the benefits and effectiveness of television advertising. A sixty-second advertisement was made and used nationally.
  • 2001: Aria Farm won two merits at the National Fieldays - Best small indoor site and Innovation Award
  • 2002: Aria Farm Ezy Mince was nominated as the most innovative meat product from NZ and sent to SIAL Food Festival in France
  • 2002: Food Safety Excellence Award in the Food Premises Category from Hamilton City Council
